Many horses wild and domestic are being neglected and tortured. The wild horses are being rounded up and separated from their families and being sent to the slaughter houses. As well as domestic horses whose owners cannot afford to keep them and neglect them and leave them to starve and die.

There are a few organizations that help these innocent horses. Return to Freedom is a well known American Wild Horse sanctuary. They help find safe loving homes for the horses. There mission is to Return To Freedom is dedicated to preserving the freedom, diversity and habitat of America's wild horses through sanctuary, education and conservation, while enriching the human spirit through direct experience with the natural world.
